Photos from Dan and more...

It's been a while since I posted anything, so i figured I'd put up some pictures LT Dan sent in from the Gulf. He's doing well out there - able to watch some Giant games (hope he got to see the second half this week, the only half of Giant football worth watching this year) and some Yankee games, and surprisingly enough, AFN (Armed Forces Network) carries the Daily Show. I get the impression he's flying a lot, but that's got to be better than sitting in the middle of the desert.

Here are some photos of 1) Dan and my HS Classmate Brian "Skippy" Arrington, 2) The lifeline of any war, the American Merchant Marine manned supply ships in the Gulf, 3) The man-made island resort off of Dubai, and 4) Dan obviously paying attention as he flies....DAN WATCH OUT FOR THAT MOUNTAIN!

Ah, that was fun wasn't it? Well, with Dan gone and Emily up at school, the remaining Fusco's ventured to Yankee Stadium Friday night for 14 innings of Yankee baseball. Too bad the Yanks lost in the 14th. Still, 1.5 games back from Boston heading into the last week of the season is pretty darn good considering they were 14.5 games back in May. At least we are almost assured of a playoff spot right now. And at least the Giants aren't 0-3. That would have made the rest of the season very depressing...
